Short answer

It ran from 2018 to 2019 and still echoes. Through 2018 Kevin posted a stream of videos on Cardone’s business model, including several titled Exposed. On December 21, 2018 he delivered poinsettias to Cardone’s Miami office dressed as an elf, which brought misdemeanor charges, later dismissed. On January 3, 2019 he posted that Cardone was suing him, said he had already apologized to Cardone for the flowers and the critical videos, and admitted the stunt was stupid and childish. On February 20, 2019 he announced the case dismissed. He still jokes about poinsettias on the channel in 2026. 1234

  • 2018: Exposed videos (a series on Cardone's business)

  • Dec 21, 2018: The elf stunt (misdemeanor charges, dismissed)

  • Jan 3, 2019: "Cardone is suing me" (and an apology for the flowers)

  • Feb 20, 2019: Case dismissed (Cardone v. Paffrath)

2018: the videos

Kevin’s first year of full-time YouTube was built partly on Grant Cardone: Grant Cardone & Cardone Capital Exposed (March), Grant Cardone Endorses a Scam (March), Grant Cardone will NEVER Show you This (August), Grant Cardone - Exposed (September), Does Grant Cardone Rent where he Lives (October), and, in December, i met grant cardone. this is what he said. In January 2019 he acknowledged the obvious: every video with Cardone’s name in the title got more views. 12

December 2018: the stunt

On December 21, 2018 he and a group dressed as elves delivered poinsettias to Cardone’s Miami office, with a bullhorn. He was charged in February 2019 with misdemeanor trespassing and disorderly conduct; the charges were later dismissed. 5

January 2019: the suit and the apology

Kevin’s account

A few days ago I personally deemed to apologize to Grant Cardone and his associates for delivering them Christmas flowers and making critical videos of them. I realize I took things too far when I went to deliver Christmas flowers to Grant Cardone’s office. It was stupid, it was childish, it was unprofessional, inspired by completely the wrong reasons, exactly what I tell you not to do. 2

The same video’s title: grant cardone is suing me.

February 2019: dismissed

On February 20, 2019, in a video under a minute long: Cardone v. Paffrath, case dismissed. 3

Since

The Wolf of Wall Street videos of 2019 and a 2020 video on Cardone Capital kept the feud alive on Kevin’s side. In September 2026 he was still quoting a poinsettia at Cardone over a Fed call. The relationship never became friendly, and Kevin’s own verdict on the stunt has not changed: a mistake for an audience that did not want it.

A year of exposé videos, one stunt, one suit, one apology, one dismissal. He says the stunt was childish; the videos still get views. 23

Simply put

✅ The videos

  • ➡️ All of 2018: how Cardone makes money, Cardone Capital, the 10X conferences. Titles with Cardone's name got more views, and Kevin said so.

✅ The stunt

  • ➡️ December 2018: elves, flowers, a bullhorn. Charges, later dropped.

✅ The suit

  • ➡️ January 2019: Kevin said Cardone was suing him. He apologized publicly. A month later: dismissed.

✅ Today

  • ➡️ He still trolls Cardone about Fed calls and poinsettias.
