Short answer

Several things he has conceded on the record. The 2018 Cardone stunt was a mistake for his audience. The week in which his library went private was a mistake, reversed. The early-2022 recession call was wrong on timing. The titles run hot, which he explains rather than denies. He burned out and posted less from 2022 to 2026, which he blames on himself. The construction company, about $1 million invested, lost over $300,000. The DUI stop: he regrets refusing the test and stopped drinking for months. He does not concede fraud, and no regulator has found it. 123

  • Cardone stunt: "A mistake" (2018)

  • Library private: "A mistake" (reversed within a week)

  • 2022 call: Wrong on timing (said on the channel)

  • 2022 to 2026: Burnout ("I blame myself")

What he has conceded

Kevin’s account

The Cardone stunt: in hindsight it was a totally different audience; mine is older, more mature and uninterested in drama. The private week: a mistake in hindsight, immediately reversed. The posting lull: I somewhat burned out after the COVID years; I blame the stagnation in subscriber counts on that, on myself. MeetNDone: it lost $1 million in under 18 months. The stop: I refused the breath test; in hindsight I regret that. 13

And on the channel, the early-2022 recession call, which he later said was wrong on timing and underestimated consumer resilience. 2

What he explains rather than concedes

The titles. His position is that they match the sentiment of each video, that many videos are reports on other people’s views, and that his own stance is published as a number. A critic can call that a dodge; it is at least a stated rule that can be tested against the archive.

What he rejects

The scam label and the FTX fraud allegations. He settled the FTX suit without admission and calls the allegations lacking integrity. No court or regulator has found fraud; the SEC closed its nine-month review of the company without action.

Why this page exists

A founder who cannot name his own mistakes is not one to trust with money. This is the list, in his words, so nobody has to argue about whether he has made one.

From the September 29, 2026 Q&A

Kevin’s account

A critic who was right: potentially a well-known personal-finance voice on paying off debt, and Kevin O’Leary on diversifying and reducing concentration in certain stocks. I think both were salient arguments that I was too stubborn to recognize were great advice at the time. 4

The first name is unclear in the dictation transcript and will be confirmed.

In his own videos

  • May 1, 2023, the video titled i was wrong. 5

In his own videos

  • April 27, 2023: the in-person sit-down with Kevin O’Leary, whose advice on diversification he now credits. 6

  • November 18, 2023: The Failure of Meet Kevin, Millionaire to ZERO, his own inventory of failures. 7

He has said yes to the prank, the private week, the 2022 call, the burnout and the breath test. He has said no to fraud, and so has every regulator that looked. 123

Simply put

✅ Conceded

  • ➡️ The elf stunt. Hiding the videos for a week. Calling a recession in 2022. Posting too little for four years. Losing over $300,000 on construction. Refusing the breathalyzer.

✅ Not conceded

  • ➡️ That he is a scam. The SEC, the courts and the auditors have not found that either.
