Short answer
There is no DUI conviction, and the outcome below is Kevin’s account rather than a court record published on this site. His account: after a traffic stop he asked for a blood test and was refused, so he declined the breath test; the DMV overturned the license suspension on that basis, and the district attorney reduced the matter to reckless driving. He stopped drinking for more than five months afterward and no longer drinks regularly. The company’s filings, which list every legal matter involving him, carry no DUI. 12
DUI conviction: None (no DUI in the company's filings)
Resolution: Reckless driving (by his account; suspension overturned)
Since: 5+ months sober (then occasional, social)
The answer
Kevin was not found guilty of DUI. 1
His account
Kevin’s account
I was not found guilty of DUI. I refused the breath test. I quit alcohol for well over five months afterward. I never drink and drive. I became a pilot. I feel like a more matured, safer person now. 1
Two things in that statement are worth separating. The first is the legal outcome: no DUI conviction. The second is the regret about the refusal, which is his own judgment about a test that was never taken. Nobody can verify what the reading would have been; the page does not claim to.
What changed after
He stopped drinking for more than five months, and says his drinking never returned to where it was. He describes his current rule plainly: rideshare, or do not drink. 1
During and after that period he trained as a pilot. The company’s offering circular lists a private pilot certificate earned in 2024 and, in 2025, an instrument rating, a multi-engine rating and a single-pilot type rating in the Phenom 300E, a light jet. Each of those requires an FAA medical certificate, checkrides with an examiner and, for the jet, type-specific training. 2
Kevin’s account
Pilot training skyrocketed my respect for checklists. They are a matter of life and death in aviation, and that discipline carries straight into how I run the business.
Why it is on this site
Because people ask, and because the answer sits inside a bigger question about whether the person running a company that holds other people’s money is careful. This page gives the facts of the stop as Kevin states them. The pilot note gives the FAA side. The rest of the site gives the filings.
From the September 29, 2026 Q&A
Kevin’s account
Kevin did quit drinking for a period of over five months, and now averages an occasional drink on an occasional evening. He no longer drinks regularly and instead drinks socially. 3
In his own videos
September 27, 2024: a video titled 7 days sober, on quitting, with a discussion of portable breathalyzers and blood-alcohol levels. It dates the start of the sober stretch to late September 2024. 4
From the September 29, 2026 Q&A
Kevin’s account
Resolution: the DMV overturned any license suspension, given the officer refused to allow a blood test when Kevin requested it. And the district attorney later reduced the penalties for the traffic violation to a reckless driving. 5
No DUI conviction. By his account the charge was reduced to reckless driving and the suspension was overturned; the court record itself is not published here. 12
Simply put
✅ The answer
➡️ No DUI conviction.
➡️ His account: reduced to reckless driving, license suspension overturned because he was refused the blood test he asked for.
✅ What is not here
➡️ The court file. Everything above is his statement and the absence of a DUI in the filings.
