Kevin's account, Kevin's account (Sept 29, 2026)
[]
Short answer
Kevin’s statement is that he was not found guilty of DUI, that he refused the breath test and regrets it, and that he stopped drinking for months afterward. Footage and commentary about the stop circulated online; footage is not proof of every allegation made alongside it. The charges filed, the court’s final disposition and the docket reference are the missing pieces, and this page will carry them from the record rather than from clips. 1
What is on the record
Kevin’s account
I was not found guilty of DUI. I refused the breath test. In hindsight I regret that, because I believe I would have been under the limit. I quit alcohol for well over five months afterward. I never drink and drive. 1
Video of the stop and commentary about it circulated. A clip shows what a clip shows; it does not establish the outcome of a case. The outcome is a matter of court record.
From the September 29, 2026 Q&A
Kevin’s account

That is the disposition in his words: no DUI, a reckless-driving resolution, and a suspension overturned because he asked for a blood test and was refused. The case number, court and date remain to be quoted from the docket.
No DUI. The suspension was overturned because the officer refused his request for a blood test, and the DA reduced it to reckless driving. He refused the breath test and regrets it. 1
