Short answer

Because the entire library downloads the moment you buy. Kevin’s account is that resellers would purchase a course, download everything, demand a refund, and sell the files on piracy sites, so the policy became no refunds, disclosed before checkout. The Alpha Membership disclaimer reads “Payments are final and non-refundable except where required by law.” Research in September 2026 found no consumer-protection, FTC, BBB or DRE action over the courses. 123

  • Policy: No refunds (except where required by law, disclosed before purchase)

  • Reason: Piracy (buy, download, refund, resell)

  • Regulatory action: None found (no FTC, BBB or DRE case located)

The policy

Course purchases and the Alpha Membership are non-refundable. The disclaimer on the channel reads: “Payments are final and non-refundable except where required by law.” It is shown before checkout. Since November 1, 2025, the courses and membership have been operated by House Hack, Inc., doing business as Reinvest. 24

Why

Kevin’s account

Scammers and unauthorized resellers would buy a program, download all the content, which is immediately available, demand a refund, and resell the downloads. That led to the no-refund policy, period. 1

The piracy is easy to confirm. Multiple sites sell copies of the courses for a fraction of the price, and several of them advertise against the no-refund policy in their own marketing. That is the loop the policy closes: without it, every pirated copy would have been paid for once and refunded once.

Is it a problem

A no-refund policy on a digital product, disclosed before purchase, is common and lawful. Research in September 2026 found no consumer-protection action, FTC complaint, Better Business Bureau case or California DRE action concerning the courses. The “scam or legit” headlines belong to affiliate review sites, and most of them conclude the courses are real. 3

What the money buys

All nine courses are bundled into the Alpha Membership: the Reinvest Money course, real estate investing, the Bear Bull Scale, DIY property management and renovations, productivity, tax strategy, stocks and the psychology of money, real estate sales, and YouTube. Members also get daily Alpha Reports, trade alerts, Bear Bull Scale updates, private livestreams and the Reinvest Terminal.

Kevin’s account

Over time I have only added value. Before the Alpha Report existed, no course member expected it, yet every course member got it, and it is now one of the most sought-after parts of the membership. 1

If you are deciding whether to buy, read the policy first and treat it as final. If you have a complaint about a purchase, email staff@reinvestone.com and it will be answered.

The policy is strict because the product is instant and copyable. It is printed before you pay, and it is a policy, not a violation. What members get for it has only grown. 12

Simply put

✅ Why there are no refunds

  • ➡️ Everything in the course library is available the second you pay.

  • ➡️ People were buying, downloading it all, asking for their money back, then selling the downloads on pirate sites.

  • ➡️ So the rule became no refunds, and it says so before you check out.

✅ Is that legal

  • ➡️ Yes, if it is disclosed, and it is. The disclaimer says "except where required by law."

  • ➡️ No consumer agency has taken action over the courses, as far as research found.

✅ What you get for the money

  • ➡️ All nine courses, daily Alpha Reports, trade alerts, and the Reinvest Terminal.

  • ➡️ Kevin's point: the Alpha Report did not exist when many members joined, and they got it anyway.
