Short answer

Yes, annually, under PCAOB standards, the regime used for public companies, by an independent firm; the auditor named in the March 2025 filing was dbbmckennon. The fiscal 2024 and 2025 audits were conducted that way and the company says all future audits will be too. The filings note that PCAOB audits are expensive relative to the company’s size. Half-year statements are unaudited. Those audited numbers were also examined by the SEC during its 2025 to 2026 investigation, which closed with no action. 123

  • Standard: PCAOB (public-company audit standard)

  • Auditor: dbbmckennon (named in the March 2025 filing)

  • Years: FY2024, FY2025 (and going forward)

  • Cost: "Substantial" (relative to the company's size, per the filing)

The record

The September 2026 offering circular states that the company undergoes annual PCAOB-audited financial reporting. The auditor named in the company’s March 2025 annual filing was dbbmckennon, an independent registered public accounting firm. The fiscal 2024 and 2025 financial statements were audited under PCAOB standards; the six-month statements for June 30, 2026 are unaudited. 12

What PCAOB standards are

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board sets the auditing standards that apply to companies listed on U.S. exchanges. Regulation A issuers can use less demanding standards for some filings; Reinvest chose the public-company standard. The filing is candid that the cost is substantial for a company its size. 1

The FY2024 and FY2025 audits were conducted under PCAOB standards, and all audits going forward are PCAOB as well.

The other check

In 2025 the SEC opened an investigation of House Hack, took the audited financials, the general ledger, bank records and appraisals, and closed it in February 2026 without recommending action. The audit covers the annual financial statements and nothing else: not the market value of the properties, not this website, and not anyone’s conduct. It is not a guarantee of anything, and the filing says so. 3

The 2025 opinion

dbbmckennon’s report on the 2025 and 2024 financial statements is an unqualified opinion: the statements present fairly, in all material respects, the company’s financial position and results in conformity with GAAP. The firm states it is registered with the PCAOB and independent under SEC and PCAOB rules. The going-concern discussion sits in Note 2 of the statements, where management concludes the doubt is alleviated; it is not an emphasis paragraph in the opinion. 4

Audited to the public-company standard every year, at a cost the filing calls substantial for a company this size. 12

Simply put

✅ What PCAOB means

  • ➡️ Audited under PCAOB standards, the standards used for public companies; the audit covers the annual financial statements only.

  • ➡️ An outside firm checks the books every year.

✅ Why it matters

  • ➡️ A small private company did not have to do this. It chose to.

  • ➡️ The SEC then looked at the same books for nine months and closed the file.
