Short answer
House Hack was the original name because the company did one thing: wedge deals, below-market real estate purchases, the house-hacking idea at scale. When it added high-margin software and memberships in 2025, the question became what to do with the extra money, and the answer was the name: reinvest it. The board decided Reinvest was a more universal name for a company no longer earning only from housing, and the change took effect September 27, 2025. The legal entity is still House Hack, Inc. 12
House Hack: 2022 to 2025 (wedge deals only)
Reinvest: Sept 27, 2025 (a company earning beyond housing)
Legal name: House Hack, Inc. (unchanged)

Kevin’s account
House Hack was the original name because we only focused on wedge deals, below-market-value acquisitions. As we expanded to high-margin software and memberships, we asked ourselves, what do we want to do with the extra money? And we thought, well, naturally, reinvest. And thus the name was born. We were expanding away from housing as a sole source of revenue. The board of directors decided Reinvest was a more universal name. 1
The record
The Form 1-K records the rebrand on September 27, 2025 and the November 1, 2025 assumption of the courses, membership and software that made the second name fit. 2
The other names
Meet Kevin, the brand, is older than either and has its own page. Plato’s Philosophy was the ETF fund’s LLC; SuitHack was to be a broker-dealer competing in ETF market making; RoboHack holds two private investments; MeetNDone was the 2017 construction company. The hack suffix ran from 2017 to 2025, and Reinvest is the first name in the family without it.
House Hack described the only thing it did; Reinvest describes what it does with the money now. The board picked it. 1
Simply put
✅ The first name
➡️ House Hack meant buying houses cheap and living in or renting them. That was the whole company.
✅ The second name
➡️ Once software and memberships made money too, the plan for that money was to reinvest it. So: Reinvest.
✅ The paperwork
➡️ The company is still legally House Hack, Inc. Reinvest is the name it operates under.
