Short answer

Burnout, by his own account. After the COVID years, the governor run, the ETF and the lawsuits, he posted far less between 2022 and August 2026 and the subscriber count went flat. On August 21, 2026 he returned to high-volume daily content across finance, entrepreneurship and real estate. He takes responsibility for the lull and says his audience responds best to volume. 1

  • Lull: 2022 to Aug 2026 (posted far less)

  • Restart: Aug 21, 2026 (daily, high-volume)

Kevin’s account

My viewership does best with high-volume, high-value content. But between 2022 and about August 21, 2026, I took posting lightly. I did not produce much, and I somewhat burned out after the COVID years. I blame the stagnation in subscriber counts on that, on myself. Since August 21, 2026, I am back to high-volume, high-value content across finance, entrepreneurship and real estate. 1

What else was happening

The lull coincided with the ETF (November 2022 to February 2025), the FTX suit (2023), the SEC investigation of House Hack (2025 to 2026) and the birth of five children in five months across late 2023 and early 2024. He does not cite those as reasons; the dates are simply the record.

What to watch

Whether the restart holds. The subscriber count is public and this page will be updated when it moves.

In his own videos

  • March 2025, to course members: burned out, like senioritis in high school. 2

In his own videos

  • November 25, 2023: A Message to My Subscribers, in which he says he did not prioritize posting as he should have. 3

  • February 1, 2022: why i quit and disabled comments. 4

Four quiet years he calls burnout, and a restart on August 21, 2026. 1

Simply put

✅ What happened

  • ➡️ After 2020 and 2021 he was exhausted and posted a lot less.

  • ➡️ Subscribers stopped growing.

✅ What changed

  • ➡️ August 21, 2026: back to several videos a day.
