Short answer
There was no DUI conviction, and the company’s filings, which list every legal matter the company must disclose, do not list one. The board of three has not changed since formation. Kevin’s own answer is that the episode made him a safer person: he quit drinking for months, does not drink and drive, and trained as a pilot to FAA standards. The company’s key-person plan, disclosed in the offering circular, names Lauren Paffrath, the remaining officers and the board as the continuity path if he could not serve. 123
DUI conviction: None
Board change: None (same three directors since 2022)
Continuity plan: Disclosed (Lauren Paffrath, officers, board)
Fiduciary standing
The company’s Legal Proceedings section lists the matters it is required to disclose; a DUI arrest without a conviction is not among them and does not appear. Kevin was not found guilty of DUI. The board has not changed since June 22, 2022. 12
Key-person risk
The offering circular is direct that the company depends on Kevin, and it also says investors should not expect a wind-down if he died or could not serve: the continuity plan includes leadership or oversight by Lauren Paffrath, the remaining officers, the board, third-party providers, and the constructive-valuation provisions of the 2025 option plan that apply on death or disability; voting control would pass through the family trust. That is the disclosed answer to key-man dependency. 3
His account
Kevin’s account
I quit alcohol for well over five months afterward. I never drink and drive. I became a pilot. I feel like a more matured, safer person now. 1
The pilot ratings, earned in 2024 and 2025, require an FAA medical certificate and examiner checkrides.

Kevin’s account
Resolution: the DMV overturned any license suspension, given the officer refused to allow a blood test when Kevin requested it. And the district attorney later reduced the penalties for the traffic violation to a reckless driving. 4

No conviction, no board change, and a continuity plan in the filing. He says the stop made him more careful, and the FAA has since tested that. 123
Simply put
✅ The legal side
➡️ Not found guilty of DUI. Not among the matters the company has to disclose, and it is not disclosed.
✅ The company side
➡️ Same board. Same CEO. A written plan for who runs things if Kevin cannot.
✅ His side
➡️ Quit alcohol for months. Never drinks and drives. Became a pilot, which requires FAA medical checks.
